AltaThera Pharmaceuticals’ Sotalol IV receives FDA approval for new pediatric indications
In July 2025, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved a label expansion for Sotalol IV, adding a new indication for pediatric patients with life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias and for the maintenance of normal sinus rhythm in atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter.
